LOOKING LIKE A MODEL . Fitness and Food that thrives in the fashion business .

Models do need to eat and to stay in the best physical shape. In order to do that, you need a balanced diet. Vitamins, Protein, Carbs, Fiber, and other nutrients play a huge role in having a great body. Below are foods and snacks that are great when you are exercising, trying to gain muscle, or get/stay lean.

Apples, bananas (they increase your metabolism)

Any dairy product in moderation is great for protein

Water-drink  about 8 glasses a day.  She drinks a gallon a day!! (idk if thats recommended to everyone )

Salad- the darker the greens, the better. The starch fills you up. Salad is filled with a ton of essential vitamins! Instead of using dressing to add flavor, try throwing on fruit, vegetables, blue cheese crumbles, or dried cranberries.

Grilled Chicken- tons of protein. Eat  without sauces or rubs to have  the healthiest option.

Red meats- Recommended 3 ounces for a serving. For the healthiest route, cook medium-well to well done.

Oatmeal-very filling and has lots of fiber. Buy Quaker’s Old Fashioned oatmeal for the healthiest.

TIPS

Avoid all regular soda. Switch to diet soda, and then go to just water, fruit juice, milk, etc. It’s healthier for short and long term.

Try looking for foods with mainly one ingredient. Chicken, vegetables, fruit, unsalted almonds, etc.

While pasta is mainly carbs, you can go the healthier route and eat pesto pasta.

Look for half portions or lunch sizes.

Avoid the bread basket.

For a healthy desert, have some fruit with a spoon full of low-fat whipped cream on top.
